Nickelback es canadiense, formado en un principio por Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake y Brandon Kroeger, este ultimo luego sustituido por Daniel Adair.

Su nombre viene supuestamente de cuando Mike Kroeger trabajaba en Starbucks Cafe, le daba como vuelto a los clientes una moneda de 5 centavos, comúnmente llamada nickel, y normalmente decía "Here's your nickel back".

El video de Someday es súper acido, sobretodo cuando lo ves por primera vez.
